Villa Margherita is a recently renovated and tastefully furnished private house of a Sardinian family. Design elements combine with classic Sardinian motifs to create a stylish ambience in which to enjoy carefree holidays. Relax on the terrace and in your own garden, surrounded by the scent of bougainvillea and roses.
Only 150 metres from the house is the sandy section of the beach of Perd´e Sali, which is also suitable for swimming. Further on, the beach consists of pebbles and rocks. Adjacent to the beach is the small yacht harbour Porto Columbu with restaurant-pizzeria, bar and pharmacy. Here you can rent rubber dinghies to explore the coast.
With about 270sqm of living and terrace space and 4 bedrooms, Villa Margherita offers plenty of room for 8 people. Two bedrooms have a double bed, in the other two bedrooms the beds can be arranged into a double bed or two single beds. Two modern bathrooms are each equipped with particularly spacious showers.
In the large living and dining room, the sofa area is grouped around a magnificent stone fireplace. Wood and other natural materials determine the tasteful furnishings. A large glass front provides a view from the living room onto the terrace and into the green garden. There is a large dining table in the living room as well as on the terrace. The living room and all bedrooms can be kept at a pleasant temperature via a central air-conditioning system.
The kitchen is well equipped with a large refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, oven and gas cooker. There is also an electric water-heater, espresso machine and microwave.
A special highlight of Villa Margherita is the large covered terrace of the house: the "loggiato", epitome of the Sardinian outdoor way of life during the summer months. With a lounge area to relax, a large brick outdoor fireplace, ideal for barbecuing, and of course the dining table for socialising on the terrace.
The well-kept garden with roses, fig and lemon trees tempts you to sunbathe on the large lawn. An outdoor shower is available for cooling off. The property is completely fenced and also includes a covered parking space for your own car.
The centre of the lively town of Pula is about 5 km away. Street cafés, fashion boutiques and small shops invite you to stroll in the evening in the pedestrian zone and around the central piazza of the town. Pula also offers plenty of culinary variety: there are numerous recommendable restaurants, good grocery shops and a weekly market selling excellent locally produced products. In the area around Pula, you can often buy local produce directly from the farmer. Cultural highlight of the area around Pula: on a peninsula lies the excavation site of the ancient harbour city of Nora, founded in the 9th century BC, which is well worth seeing.
Cagliari, with the flair of a southern harbour town, its winding alleys and countless boutiques, can be reached by car in half an hour. The renowned 27-hole golf course of Is Molas is about 6 km away. Around Pula and along the entire coast in a south-westerly direction are numerous beautiful beaches. About 20 minutes by car from the house are the beaches of Chia, which are among the best in the entire Mediterranean: white sand, juniper-covered dunes up to 30 metres high and Caribbean blue sea.

Arrival and departure
The property is rented by the week, with arrival and departure on Saturdays. Depending on your flight or ferry connections, we may in some cases be able to arrange for you to arrive or depart on a different day.
Arrival time is normally between 17:00 and 21:00. For late arrivals between 21:00 and 22:00 a fee of 100 € will be charged. Arrivals are not possible after 22:00.
Departure time is normally by 10:00 am.
Prices
The prices quoted include the rental of the property, final cleaning, the additional costs for electricity, gas and water as well as one set of bed linen with two towels per person. For stays of at least 12-14 days, the bed linen and towels are changed free of charge after one week and the bathrooms are cleaned.
The use of the internet is included in the price.

Deposit
A security deposit is required for the house in case of any damage. The amount for this property is 200 euros and must be given in cash to the staff on site upon arrival.ouse.
Payment methods
The payment generally is made by bank transfer. For an extra charge of 1% on the total amount of the booking the payment can also be made by credit card or paypal. We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and Maestro. Please send us an e-mail if you want to pay by credit card.
Payment terms
A down payment of 30% of the total amount of the booking has to be made within one week after booking. The remaining sum has to be paid until 8 weeks prior to departure.
Cancellation terms
cancellation cost until 60 days before the start of the rental period: 25% of the total amount of the booking
cancellation in between 59th and 35th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the total amount of the booking
cancellation in between 34th and 8th day before the start of the rental period: 80% of the total amount of the booking
cancellation within 7 day before the start of the rental period or non-commencement: 90% of the total amount of the booking
