Between the wild cliff coast in the west and the gentle bathing beaches on the Gulf of Asinara in the east, Villa Camilla is located on the narrow headland of Stintino in the far northwest of Sardinia. The villa with private pool belongs to the exclusive residential area of Country Paradise, which nestles against the cliffs of the steep coast. A small rocky bay with pebbles is about 600 metres from Villa Camilla. It is a 4-minute drive to the long bathing beach Le Saline along the Golfo di Asinara. The location of Villa Camilla is ideal for exploring the sights of the northwest: the famous beaches at Stintino, the national park of Asinara, the old town of Alghero and the famous stalactite caves of Capo Caccia.

Mediterranean holiday villa to relax

Villa Camilla is a charming pool villa with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for 4 people - one of the bedrooms is equipped with a double bed and one with two single beds that can be put together to form a double bed. In front of both bedrooms there is a small anteroom, from which there is access to a separate bathroom. The respective anteroom itself is separated from the hallway by a door. This makes Villa Camilla suitable for a family with children as well as for two friendly couples, each of whom would like to maintain their own privacy. The sofa bed in the living room can sleep two more children on request. The windows are fitted with mosquito screens and both bedrooms have air conditioning.

On about 75 sqm of living space, Villa Camilla offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The living room is equipped with a dining table, seating furniture and a comfortable sofa. The furnishings are mainly in white and turquoise tones and the Mediterranean ambience immediately evokes holiday feelings in the guests. The small kitchen has an oven, a gas cooker, a large refrigerator and a double sink. There is no dishwasher.

From the covered terrace of Villa Camilla, the view goes into the private garden, which surrounds the house on 3 sides and is overgrown with juniper trees and bougainvillea. Surrounded by the scent of the Sardinian maquis, you can spend relaxing days here in the shade of the trees or sunbathing on the lawn. To cool off, the private pool in the villa´s own garden is always at your disposal.
Balmy summer evenings under the twinkling southern starry sky can be wonderfully spent on the terrace of the house. You can conjure up all kinds of delicacies for dinner on the large, brick barbecue - accompanied by a good glass of wine and the gentle evening breeze from the sea.

Nearby

A natural rock and pebble beach on the steep coast can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot from Villa Camilla, although it is only suitable for swimming to a limited extent. About 2.6 km away is the long bathing beach "Le Saline", made of the finest white quartz pebbles and crystal clear water. About 10 km away is the famous beach "La Pelosa", considered one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean with its breathtaking turquoise and blue tones and the picturesque old watchtower on an offshore rock island. Other beautiful beaches lie in the surrounding area.
The residential area of Villa Camilla, "Country Paradise Stintino", includes a pretty piazza with shops and restaurants where people meet for an evening stroll. There is also a supermarket in the settlement, which is usually open in season until mid/end September. More supermarkets, bars and restaurants can be found about 7 km away in the village of Stintino.

Just off Stintino is the Asinara National Park, which includes the offshore island of Asinara and the marine reserve. In addition to spectacular scenery, the island offers unique wildlife, including the famous white donkeys after which the island is named. Dolphins are often seen in the waters around the island. Excursion boats depart daily from Stintino.

Alghero, the most beautiful city in Sardinia, is only about 50 km away. In the evening, you can go out in the wonderful old town and dine in one of the many restaurants with a view of the sea. An excursion to Alghero can be ideally combined with a visit to the stalactite caves "Grotte di Nettuno", which are spectacularly located in the rock of Capo Caccia rising high from the sea. The caves can be reached via 654 steps carved into the rock or, much more comfortably, by boat from Alghero.
