Oasis of peace in the middle of the Costa Smeralda

Villa Lu Postu Gazania is situated on the 12-hectare, park-like estate of Lu Postu - an oasis of peace in the heart of the Costa Smeralda. It is just short walk of 170 meters from the house to a small sandy beach in the bay of Arzachena, which winds its way like a fjord into the famous coastal landscape of the Costa Smeralda. Only 9 villas are located on the 12-hectare estate of Lu Postu, which is the only access to the small beach. So even in summer there are normally only the residents and guests of Lu Postu at this beach. There is a beautiful view from the beach towards the town of Cannigione, with its romantic marina on the granite-covered hills.
There is another beach at the end of the bay which is also only about 180 meters from the villa. This is one of the very few beaches in Sardinia where dogs can be brought along during the season - this is generally prohibited on the beaches of Sardinia. Therefore, Villa Lu Postu Gazania is also ideal for travelling with a dog.

Spacious villa for 6 people

The property of Villa Lu Postu Gazania is about 3,000 square metres in size and it is covered with palm trees, pines and Mediterranean scrub. A lawn around the house provides space for sunbathing or romping for the kids. The roofed terrace of 50 square metres invites you to relax in the Hollywood swing or on the comfortable rattan armchairs and to enjoy the tranquillity of Lu Postu. The terrace is equipped with a dining table, perfect for breakfast in the magic of the morning light as well as for a delicious dinner in the warm Sardinian night air.
The terrace is connected by large sliding glass doors with the living room, so that you can enjoy the view of the garden also from the inside of the house. The villa is furnished with great taste in bright colours. A seating area faces the large, beautifully designed fireplace and there is another dining table in the living room. The separate kitchen is well equipped: in addition to an oven, gas hob, dishwasher and a large fridge freezer you will also find a gas-powered grill where you can prepare crispy delicacies.
Lu Postu Gazania has 3 spacious bedrooms for 6 persons. The beds can be arranged in each bedroom as a double bed or as two single beds. Thus, the house is suitable for 3 couples as well as 6 adult friends, as well as for families with children. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Two further bathrooms with shower are accessible from the corridor.

The area

The Costa Smeralda is a coast of particular beauty – turquoise coves framed by granite rocks of weird shapes, white beaches and green hills covered with dense vegetation. Many beautiful beaches can be found in the surroundings of Lu Postu, such as Cala dei Ginepri, which is just a short drive from the house. The nearest restaurants are at 2 km. Other restaurants, bars and supermarkets can be found at the the villages of a Cannigione and Baia Sardinia which are at 5 km from Lu Postu.
Costa Smeralda offers plenty of entertainment, glamorous villages like Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo become the playground for stars and starlets during the summer months and the bars and discos are among the most exclusive ones of entire Italy. Therefore it is just a short drive from the profound peace of the natural landscape of Lu Postu right into the heart of the vibrant night-life of the rich and famous.
