Oasis of peace in the middle of the Costa Smeralda

Villa Lu Postu Mimosa is located on the 12-hectare park-like estate of Lu Postu, an oasis of tranquillity with only 9 villas. Lu Postu is located directly on the bay of Arzachena, which winds like a fjord into the famous coastal landscape of the Costa Smeralda. No less than two sandy beaches border the property: one at the end of the bay in front of a natural marshland and only about 120 metres from Villa Lu Postu Mimosa. This is one of the very few beaches in Sardinia where dogs are allowed even during the season - this is generally prohibited on Sardinian beaches. Therefore, Villa Lu Postu Mimosa is also ideal for travelling with a dog.

The second, smaller beach is practically like a private beach of the property, as this is the only land access to it. Here, even in high summer, the residents of the estate are mostly among themselves. From the beach there is a beautiful view of the bay and the village of Cannigione opposite, with its romantic marina in front of the granite-studded hills.

Spacious villa for 6-8 people

The property belonging to the villa is about 3,000 square metres and is overgrown with palm trees, pine trees and Mediterranean macchia. A lawn around the house offers space for sunbathing or for the children to run around.

On the covered terrace you can relax on the comfortable rattan armchairs and enjoy the tranquillity of Lu Postu. The terrace is connected to the living area of the house by large sliding glass doors, so that you can also enjoy the view of the greenery from inside. The house is tastefully furnished in Sardinian style. A seating area in the living room faces the large fireplace and there is a large dining area adjacent to the living room. The separate kitchen is well equipped with oven, gas cooker, dishwasher and a large refrigerator. Thanks to the air conditioning, the villa can be kept at a pleasant temperature even in the height of summer.

Lu Postu Mimosa has 4 bedrooms. The two double bedrooms each have their own bathroom with shower. In the third bedroom there are two single beds and in the 4 bedroom there is a french bed (width 1.40m). The third bathroom, with shower, is accessible from the hallway.

The surroundings

The Costa Smeralda has a legendary reputation - turquoise bays framed by fascinatingly shaped granite rocks, white sandy beaches and winding fjords cutting deep into the undeveloped hilly landscape. Many beautiful beaches, such as Cala dei Ginepri, lie in the vicinity of Lu Postu and are a short drive from the house. The nearest restaurants are about 2 km away. The towns of Cannigione and Baia Sardinia are both about 5 kilometres away, where you will find many more restaurants, bars and supermarkets.

Evening entertainment is also provided, as the natural beauty of the coast magically attracts the international jet set. During the summer months, fashionable places like Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo become a stomping ground for stars and starlets, and the bars and discos are among the hottest in Italy. And so it is only a short distance from the peaceful natural landscape around Lu Postu to the pulsating nightlife of the Costa Smeralda.
