Beachfront holiday villa under pine trees

Villa Fara is situated in Santa Margherita di Pula, about 40 km southwest of the capital Cagliari. Typical for this area are the pine forests that stretch for kilometres along the coast, in the hinterland lovely hills and mighty mountains. The beaches are white and fine sandy with crystal clear and turquoise blue water. It is only 200 metres from Villa Fara to one of these beaches: the wonderfully long sandy beach of Perla Marina.

Peace, shade and plenty of space for the whole family

Villa Fara is a spacious holiday villa for 6 people on 3 floors. On the top floor there are three bedrooms and a modern bathroom with shower: one bedroom is equipped with a double bed and a small terrace, the other two bedrooms with two single beds each. In the basement floor of the villa there is an indoor fireplace and a dining table, as well as a sofa bed - on request, this sofa can be converted into a bed for 1-2 more people, so that Villa Fara can then accommodate up to 8 people.

On the ground floor of the villa there is a large living room, a second shower room and an open, very well-equipped kitchen. Both the kitchen and the two bathrooms of the villa were completely renovated in 2020. Villa Fara has Wi-Fi with DSL connection for fast and stable internet.
The living room as well as the basement floor and all three bedrooms have air conditioning.

The garden of about 500 sqm is covered with pine trees, which provide pleasant shade in the heat of the Sardinian summer. If you come from the beach or need to cool down, there is an outdoor shower in the garden (which has also hot water). The terrace is covered by a pergola and has a large dining table. There is direct access to the terrace from the villa´s kitchen.

Villa Fara is located in a very quiet residential area, separated from the public by a barrier - only the residents and guests of the houses have access to this area and the beach. The beach is only a 2-minute walk from the villa and tempts you to jump into the crystal clear water at any time.

The surroundings

The south-west is one of the most beautiful areas of Sardinia and offers unspoilt nature and fantastic beaches, such as the beaches of Chia, which are among the most beautiful in the Mediterranean: white sand, juniper-covered dunes up to 30 metres high and a Caribbean blue sea. Chia can be reached from Villa Fara by car in 10 minutes or on foot with a beautiful walk of about 6km on the old Roman path along the coast - with magnificent views of the sea and the dreamlike bays.

The lively town of Pula is about 10km away. Street cafés, fashion boutiques and small shops invite you to stroll in the evening in the pedestrian zone and around the central piazza of the town. Pula also offers plenty of culinary variety: there are numerous recommendable restaurants, good grocery shops and a weekly market selling excellent locally produced products. In the area around Pula, you can often buy local produce directly from the farmer.

Cultural highlight of the area around Pula: on a peninsula lies the excavation site of the ancient port city of Nora, founded in the 9th century BC, which is worth seeing and can be reached by car in 4 minutes from the house. Directly adjacent to the excavation site is a nature park in a lagoon landscape where many plants and animals can be observed. Guided tours through the park are offered, including a visit to the attached rescue station for sea turtles.

Cagliari, with the flair of a southern harbour town, its winding alleys and countless boutiques, can be reached by car in half an hour. The renowned 27-hole golf course of Is Molas is about 6 km away.
