Villa Luisa is the home of a Sardinian couple and exudes that special warmth that comes from people who truly love a place – from the ceramics by a well-known artist in the entrance hall to the blooming garden with its mature trees, which invites you to linger. The garden terrace is the perfect spot to relax on the comfortable loungers. A secluded lounge area also ensures cosy evenings in undisturbed privacy. And in just a few minutes, you can reach the dream beach of Costa Rei via a path lined with reeds and maquis.

Living comfort with character

Villa Luisa is one half of a semi-detached house and offers everything you need for a relaxing summer holiday. Two bedrooms, both with double beds and spacious wardrobes, and two modern en-suite bathrooms ensure hassle-free comfort. Villa Luisa is therefore the ideal place not only for a family but also for two couples to experience the legendary Costa Rei.

The kitchen is fully equipped – with a dishwasher, oven, washing machine and everything a modern household needs – and has direct access to the rear garden with its brick-built barbecue area.

In the tastefully decorated living room, numerous decorative elements and a beautiful old cupboard catch the eye; an indoor fireplace makes the house attractive even in the early season. Air conditioning is available in the living room and both bedrooms. From the living room, you can access the 30 m² loggia: ideal for shared breakfasts, surrounded by the blooming garden, and long Sardinian barbecue evenings in the last light of the fading day, whilst the garden slowly cools and the stars begin to twinkle.

The surroundings

The Costa Rei beach is around 430 metres from the house – a wide, fine sandy beach stretching for some 8 kilometres and voted one of the five most beautiful beaches in the world by Lonely Planet: pale yellow to white sand, crystal-clear water that slopes gently, making it particularly suitable for families with children. For those wishing to explore further: the secluded coves around Capo Ferrato, a good 6 kilometres to the north, are well worth a visit; the fine sandy beach of Cala Sinzias is about a 15-minute drive away.

The centre of Costa Rei is around 2 kilometres away and offers everything you need for daily life in summer: several supermarkets, restaurants such as the Pink Lady pizzeria on Piazza Marina Rei or the Michelin-listed Sa Cardiga e Su Pisci, as well as a weekly market with Sardinian specialities and fresh vegetables.

In about 20 minutes by car, you can reach the larger towns of Muravera and Villasimius, where all shops are open year-round – particularly handy in the off-season when not all shops and restaurants on the Costa Rei are yet open.

There are plenty of places to visit: the Sette Fratelli mountain range with guided hikes and jeep tours in the nature park, the lagoon lakes of Feraxi and Colostrai with their birdlife, the 18-hole golf course at the Tanka Golf Club near Villasimius, and the Sardinian capital Cagliari with its old-town charm, about an hour’s drive away.
