Pure beach holiday in a dream bay

It is only 80 metres from the Villetta Giada to the beach of the enchanting bay of Cala Pira - a real jewel with fine, white sand and turquoise-blue water. A picturesque tower from the Middle Ages watches over the bay and in the hinterland lie the green hills of the Sarrabus Mountains. Cala Pira is ideal for families with children or couples looking for a romantic beach holiday off the beaten track.

Villetta Giada is located in the small settlement of Cala Pira, to which only residents and guests have access. Apart from the residents´ arrivals and departures, there is practically no car traffic in the settlement area. The houses in the settlement were originally designed as simple beach bungalows, situated in 3 rows directly behind the beach. Almost all the houses have been modernised in the course of time. In order to preserve the original charm of the bay, no enlargements of the houses were allowed. When redesigning the Villetta Giada, sophisticated room concepts were therefore used to make the best possible use of the available space.

Beach house with very good furnishings

With a living space of about 55 sqm, Villetta Giada offers room for up to 5 people. One of the two bedrooms is equipped with a double bed. The second bedroom can be arranged flexibly according to your wishes: with one or two single beds, a double bed or a single bed plus a bunk bed.

If the Villetta Giada is occupied by only two people, the second bedroom can be converted into a living room with a sofa and the partition to the kitchen-living room can be moved to create a large open space. The kitchen is well equipped with gas cooker, oven, dishwasher, microwave and large refrigerator. Both the kitchen and the bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Villetta Giada is a corner house and detached on three sides. The plot size is about 260sqm and, in true Mediterranean style, life in summer takes place mainly outdoors: there is a small garden both at the front and at the back of the house for sunbathing or for the children to romp around in. A dip in the sea is always a good way to cool off, as it takes less than a minute to walk from the garden gate to the beach.

A covered terrace to the side of the house is equipped with comfortable seating for relaxing and a large dining table for the whole family. You can cook all kinds of delicacies on the large, brick barbecue. An outdoor shower and a private parking space are also available. Villetta Giada offers a very good level of equipment, so that nothing stands in the way of a carefree beach holiday.

The surroundings

Cala Pira is one of the most beautiful bays in Sardinia and a real insider tip. The crystal clear, mostly calm water is ideal for swimming, even for children. Enchanted paths over the surrounding hills invite you to go hiking. Many other fantastic beaches are in the vicinity, for example Cala Sinzias (3 km), Punta Is Molentis (8km) or the Costa Rei (10km).

Several pizzerias, agriturismi and smaller supermarkets are a short drive from Cala Pira. Numerous other restaurants and supermarkets can be found in the village of Costa Rei (about 10km) and in the former fishing village of Villasimius (about 12km). In addition to shops that are open all year round, Villasimius also offers a lively local life with many cafés and bars.

Loneliness and tranquillity, on the other hand, are guaranteed in the unspoilt mountain world of Sarrabus - here you can go on day trips into dense holm oak forests or summit hikes between rugged granite rocks and fragrant macchia. Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia, is about an hour´s drive away.
